Job Title: Data Governance Analyst Location-Type: Onsite in Philadelphia, PA Start Date Is: 2/2 Duration: 8-month contract Compensation Range: $70-75/hr on W2 ONLY Job Description: Support the documentation and governance of enterprise data assets by translating technical metadata into business-friendly formats and enhancing the quality and usability of the enterprise data catalog. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: • Translate technical data rules and lineage into clear, business-facing documentation • Collaborate with technical teams to gather and standardize metadata across data domains • Support documentation and governance efforts for PHI/PII compliance and retention policies • Enhance metadata in the enterprise data catalog through active engagement with analytics teams • Identify documentation gaps and partner with stakeholders to resolve them • Create user-friendly descriptions and data policy artifacts to support governance frameworks Requirements: Must-Haves: • Bachelor's Degree • 4–6 years in data governance or data management roles • 2–3 years of experience with SQL and Python • 1–2 years working with a data catalog Nice-to-Haves: • Experience with metadata management tools (e.g., Alation) • Familiarity with data quality tools (e.g., Experian, Collibra) • Background in healthcare or experience with Epic systems • Strong technical writing skills • Bachelor's in informatics, healthcare management, statistics, or a related field Benefits: • This role is eligible to enroll in both Mondo's health insurance plan and retirement plan.
