Data Governance Analyst (Plano)

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Data Consultant (Plano) to join their team. As a Data Consultant (Plano), you will be part of the Data Management department supporting Global Banking & Markets operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, effective communication, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Data Consultant (Plano) Location:Plano, TX Pay: competative What's the Job? • Manage projects and processes from inception through execution to reporting, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards. • Provide sustainable attestations on AML and Sanctions checks for applicable market transactions to support compliance efforts. • Manage and remediate issues arising from stakeholder testing, internal quality control, and annual attestations management. • Create, maintain, and publish detailed process documentation related to team responsibilities. • Gather complex lineage and controls metadata for applications within the Global Markets and Global Banking supply chains to support risk functions and business needs. What's Needed? • Understanding of Data Management fundamentals, including metadata, data quality, and data governance. • Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and document information effectively. • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills, capable of working in person, virtually, and across global teams. • Ability to influence, lead, and communicate effectively across technology and business units. • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, project management, or data governance.
