Key Responsibilities β€’ Policy Implementation: Develop and enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data quality, security, and compliance. β€’ Metadata Management: Create and maintain metadata repositories, ensuring accurate documentation of data assets, definitions, and relationships. β€’ Data Lineage: Establish and manage data lineage processes to track data flow from source to consumption, facilitating impact analysis and compliance reporting. β€’ Data Stewardship: Collaborate with data stewards and business units to define data ownership, stewardship roles, and responsibilities. β€’ Tool Utilization: Leverage tools such as Informatica, Collibra, or Alation to support metadata management and data governance initiatives. β€’ Training & Support: Provide guidance and training to stakeholders on data governance best practices and the use of metadata tools. β€’ Continuous Improvement: Monitor data governance metrics and implement improvements to enhance data quality and governance processes. β€’ Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. Experiment with new tools and approaches to continuously improve the overall Data Analytics ecosystem. β€’ Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and adapt to changing priorities Technical Skills: β€’ Technical Skills: Proficiency in data governance tools (e.g., Informatica, Collibra), SQL, and data modeling concepts. β€’ Knowledge: Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, metadata standards, data quality and data lineage methodologies.
