Key Responsibilities
β’ Policy Implementation: Develop and enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
β’ Metadata Management: Create and maintain metadata repositories, ensuring accurate documentation of data assets, definitions, and relationships.
β’ Data Lineage: Establish and manage data lineage processes to track data flow from source to consumption, facilitating impact analysis and compliance reporting.
β’ Data Stewardship: Collaborate with data stewards and business units to define data ownership, stewardship roles, and responsibilities.
β’ Tool Utilization: Leverage tools such as Informatica, Collibra, or Alation to support metadata management and data governance initiatives.
β’ Training & Support: Provide guidance and training to stakeholders on data governance best practices and the use of metadata tools.
β’ Continuous Improvement: Monitor data governance metrics and implement improvements to enhance data quality and governance processes.
β’ Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. Experiment with new tools and approaches to continuously improve the overall Data Analytics ecosystem.
β’ Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and adapt to changing priorities
Technical Skills:
