Data Intelligence Delivery Analyst (DI DA)
This is a remote, contract position.
Overview:
The Data Intelligence Delivery Analyst (DI DA) plays a critical role in ensuring the technical success of large and complex customer deliveries involving object-based storage, data intelligence, and professional services. This hands-on role bridges planning, coordination, delivery, and ongoing support by working closely with project managers, consultants, and customers to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Delivery & Engagement
β’ Serve as the primary technical resource on professional services engagements.
β’ Coordinate with Project Managers to maintain project plans and communicate status to stakeholders.
β’ Ensure successful project delivery by executing technical tasks, driving issue resolution, and managing escalations.
β’ Review and execute project documentation, including definition documents and delivery checklists.
β’ Produce and maintain customer-facing solution documentation.
β’ Build trust with internal teams (Engagement Managers, Solution Consultants, and Sales teams) and clients.
β’ Exceed customer expectations for service quality, timeliness, and professionalism.
Service Innovation & Enablement
β’ Self-train on new service offerings and technologies to stay current with evolving delivery capabilities.
β’ Serve as a pioneer in delivering newly developed services and act as a mentor to peer Data Analysts.
β’ Share knowledge and delivery experience to help upskill the broader team.
Technical Responsibilities
β’ Provide system administration and support for Hitachi Content Platform (HCP) and Hitachi Content Intelligence (HCI).
β’ Deliver and support enterprise object storage solutions and data migration services.
β’ Troubleshoot and test using various protocols and tools including TCP/IP, RSS, SMTP, ODBC/SQL, HTTP/REST, XML, and JSON.
β’ Assist technical support in issue resolution and escalation management.
β’ Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Expertise
β’ 10+ years of experience in enterprise-level, data-driven environments.
Strong knowledge of:
β’ Object-based storage systems (HCP, S3, Centera)
β’ Data transfer protocols (API, NFS, CIFS, REST, SOAP, HTML)
β’ Service-oriented and microservices architecture
β’ Distributed application design (e.g., multi-tenant systems, clusters)
β’ Data analytics and engineering orchestration tools
β’ Hands-on experience with:
β’ Hitachi Content Platform (HCP) and Hitachi Content Intelligence (HCI) β strong plus
β’ Java runtime environment and RESTful APIs
β’ Linux systems administration and shell scripting (Bash, PowerShell, grep)
β’ Open-source tools like Docker, Spark, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Solr
β’ XML and JSON formatting/parsing
β’ Integration with enterprise platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Exchange, FileShares)
Professional Skills
β’ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
β’ Strong technical documentation and presentation capabilities
β’ Ability to quickly translate business needs into technical requirements
β’ Proficient with Microsoft Office suite for documentation and communication
Preferred Certifications (Optional but Beneficial):
β’ Hitachi Vantara certifications
β’ AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent
