We want someone who can help guide and lead this team with experience and examples of success.Looking for someone that can own our data strategy for Infra & Service on a go-forward basis. Specifically, these areas : Data Standards, Master Data, CSDM. Architecture of what data lives where, how it's accessed for reporting and analytics, and using it effectively for what drives business value such as proactive activities like monitoring and automated response. While we always appreciate thought leadership on these topics from our partners as well, this is a role I see as best to be internal so we're not overly dependent on our partners as decisions here can have major cost / value implications. The thought was, we need this of course for this consolidation project, can we engage someone in this project to help us during this phase and carry forward to steady state operations. Primary Role : Owns Configuration and Asset Management Databases (CMDB and AMDB) Responsibilities : Data Model Design and Governance -Define and data modelEnsure AMDB and CMDB integrationAlign the CMDB structure with ITIL and CSDM (Common Sense Data Model) frameworksDefine the structure of the AMDB, including asset classes (hardware, software, licenses), attributes and lifecycle statusesDefine KPIs for CMDB and AMDB health (completeness, accuracy, compliance)Establish governance policies for data quality, ownership, and lifecycle management Data Integrity and QualityDefine standards for CI naming conventions, normalization and deduplicationDefine data validation rules and quality standardsCollaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate data ingestion Integration and AutomationDesign integrations with discovery tools, monitoring systems, cloud platforms and ITSM processesEnsure data supports ITSM processesIntegrate AMDB with ERP systems for procurement, invoicing, and financial reconciliation Collaboration and EnablementWork with service owners, platform owners, and process managers to ensure the CMDB meets business needsProvide guidance and training on all CMBD usage and best practicesWork with IT Asset Management owner for alignment with financial, procurement and contract management processes Regards,Compest Solutions IncD: 647-660-7562 Job Type: Contract Pay: $90.00 - $100.00 per hour Experience: Integrations with other Systems: 10 years (Preferred) AMDB with ERP systems for procurement, invoicing: 10 years (Preferred) Asset Management Databases (CMDB and AMDB): 10 years (Required) CMDB structure with ITIL and CSDM: 10 years (Required) AMDB and CMDB integration: 10 years (Required) ServiceNow: 10 years (Preferred) Master data management: 10 years (Preferred) ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB): 10 years (Preferred) Data model: 10 years (Preferred) ITSM processes: 10 years (Preferred) Work Location: Remote
