Job Title: Data Management & Metadata Analyst Location: Pittsburgh, PA About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Data Management & Metadata Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring data quality, consistency, and compliance across business processes. You’ll work closely with data owners, technology teams, and business leaders to analyze, validate, and manage critical data assets while supporting reporting and dashboard requirements. Key Responsibilities β€’ Apply strong data management and metadata analysis skills to support business needs. β€’ Learn and align with company Data Management policies, ensuring procedures adhere to standards. β€’ Analyze, query, and manipulate data based on defined business rules. β€’ Review and interpret logical data models, partnering with tech teams to confirm accuracy in Data Management tools. β€’ Build relationships with source system data owners to document requirements, scope, definitions, and linkages. β€’ Support dashboard development for reporting metrics and create ad-hoc reports as needed. β€’ Perform root cause analysis on data errors, identify remediation steps, and enforce adherence to data quality standards. β€’ Work effectively under stringent deadlines, managing multiple priorities and adapting to a fast-paced environment. Qualifications β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (other majors welcome; training provided). β€’ Strong knowledge of Excel and experience with issue management systems. β€’ Familiarity with logical and conceptual data models (preferred). β€’ Experience with Data Quality, Controls, and compliance-related policies. β€’ Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills (oral and written). β€’ Prior experience in banking, financial services, auditing, or compliance (preferred). β€’ Knowledge of structuring data environments and big data applications (preferred).
