Data Mapping Engineer Contract Remote (only local to St Louis, MO) Only on w2(USC or GC) Required Data Mapping & Communication Skills: • Candidates must have strong executive-level written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to explain complex data mapping requirements to leadership and articulate technical requirements to developers. • collaborating with 60–90 teams across the company • Experience with large volumes of data tables (handling 100–120 tables). • Experience with large-scale data environments (100+ tables, millions of transactions). Exposure & Collaboration: • Experience collaborating with 60–90 teams across the enterprise. • Domain knowledge exposure is critical. Analytical Skills: • Not just technical; must have strong analytical skills as a software analyst. Technical Skills: • Basic SQL knowledge. • Experience with large volumes of data tables (handling 100–120 tables). • Big data, warehousing, transformations, migrations, and documentation of mappings. • Familiarity with various tools (most candidates meet this requirement). • Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities • 3+ years of related experience • 3+ years of SQL experience • Experience in data mapping and data validation • Experience working with Agile methodology or KANBAN • Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint Point and Visio 2010 • Basic knowledge of JIRA/Confluence or another Project Tracking System • Familiarity with regression testing, release testing, and/or troubleshooting system issues • Experience complying with data security standards and working with enterprise-wide systems • Must be organized with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to timelines • Must have strong attention to detail and ability to document both system design information and processes • Ability to identify root cause and conduct initial investigation into problems as they arise • Must have proven experience in communicating and collaborating with all levels of management • Ability to partner with software development team members to communicate a detailed understanding of requirements • Ability to clearly define and create detailed documentation to describe complex business processes to the lowest level • Ability to validate that new software releases are production ready and provide documentation for it to end users • Consistently demonstrates personal ownership of tasks, projects and job performance Preferred: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred • Experience with SQL on Teradata, Oracle, and/or SQL server • Experience with API requirements analysis and design • Experience with or willingness to learn new cloud technologies
