Role description
This Principal Data Analyst role is to maintain the critical support for four data products and two enterprise platforms within Data Experience Squad (formally known as BMDL supporting). This role is essential for ongoing leadership, squad leader partnership, stakeholder engagement, data requirements/analysis/modelling, architectural partnership and strategic input, ensuring the continued success of the associated products and platforms. The candidate will contribute with scrum master duties, planning and mentoring junior squad members.
Cutting edge technology and importance of the group and process overall. Supporting initiatives used across the enterprise.
MUST HAVE:
• SQL for data analysis
• Data Modeling - Power Designer
• Ability to capture and document data requirements for Data Engineers
• Front facing so ability to work with stakeholder/communicate
• Mentor other analysts
NICE TO HAVE:
• On prem Oracle, data warehouse snowflake
• Experience in data governance, Allation and/or Collibra
