Title - Data Modeler Location-Onsite @MC Lean, VA-Need Locals Only Duration –Contract What You’ll Get to Do: • Perform hands-on Data Modelling, adoption of modern software engineering & delivery practices • Will work on building Logical and Conceptual Data Model • Will work on Ontological Modelling • Will have to gather and Publish Data Dictionaries: • Will maintain data models in data modelling environments. • Will capture data models from existing databases, and record descriptive information into them • Will have to publish existing conceptual and logical models in HTML or other browsable format for wider consumption and sharing • Identify business needs, organize and define data, create and maintain Conceptual, Logical and Physical data models • Maintain appropriate Version Control on data models • Participate in the de-normalization of the data model, ensuring that business rules which are impacted during de-normalization are implemented via an alternate mechanism (i.e. trigger, application code). • Closely work with the App Dev team and DBA to create an appropriate Conceptual, Logical and Physical Data Model • Present data designs and project approaches to the Data Review Board (DRB) for review and approval, and ensure all DRB artifacts are created with clients • Generate DDL and validate that the DDL is implemented properly • Identify opportunities to reuse data and reduce redundancy in data across the enterprise What You’ll Bring with You: • 5+ Years of experience building Logical and Conceptual Data Model. • Strong knowledge of Ontological Modelling • Mortgage Lending experience is a must. • Must have knowledge of Industry Ontology models such as BIAN,FIBO, MISMO • Understanding of architecture and design across all systems • Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement • Working proficiency in developmental toolsets • Knowledge of industry wide technology trends and best practices • Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture Regards, Sai Srikar 7704565690 Email:sai@cysphere.net
