We are seeking a Data Modeler (Contractor) to join one of our clients' teams in New York City, NY.
🧑 💻 Candidate Requirements
Must-Haves
• 8+ years’ experience in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling
• ERWIN Data Modeling experience (hands-on)
• Snowflake data warehouse experience
• Strong banking products knowledge (Deposits, Loans, Core banking applications)
• Experience building semantic layers & ontological models
• Experience with data dictionaries, version control, and DDL generation
• Ability to collaborate with App Dev & DBA teams on data architecture
• Comfortable presenting to Data Review Boards (DRB)
Nice-to-Haves
• Experience in denormalization strategies
• Familiarity with data reuse/redundancy reduction practices
• Broader consulting experience (client-facing communication skills)
Culture Fit
• Structured, detail-oriented, and able to work in collaborative enterprise teams
• Prior consulting/banking project experience is highly desirable
• Passion for innovation and clean data architecture
