Project Overview
Data Quality Steward supports the Enterprise Data Quality Project and its aims to enable Authority to manage its βData-As-An-Assetβ and to continue to build the data management and quality program. This role involves collaborating with various departments, managing data quality initiatives, and utilizing data quality tools and technique
Job Functions & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Implement data quality standards, policies, and procedures using Attacama Data Quality Tool Create and maintain a data quality roadmap aligned with organizational goals.
β’ Conduct regular data quality assessments and audits.
β’ Identify data quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
Data Profiling and Cleansing:
β’ Utilize data profiling tools to analyze data quality.
β’ Work closely with data owners, IT, and business units to address data quality issues.
β’ Communicate data quality metrics and progress to stakeholders..
Skills:
β’ Strong knowledge of Data Governance & Quality - policies, processes and tools.
β’ Working experience as a technical data steward (running Stewardship sessions, designing and building business glossaries).
β’ Strong understanding and experience of Authorities-specific and utility industry terms.
β’ Knowledge / experience using Collibra Data Governance tool, strongly preferred.
β’ Knowledge / experience using Trillium Data Quality tool is a plus
Education & Certifications:
β’ Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Management, or similar field of study. Graduate degree preferred.
β’ 5+ years of demonstrated data governance or data quality experience
β’ Minimum of Level 1 Certification in Collibra required, higher level certifications preferred
