Responsibilities
Kforce has a client that is seeking an onsite Data & Reporting Analyst to join their team in Knoxville, TN. Duties:
β’ Data & Reporting Analyst will design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations in Tableau to support fuel accounting operations and decision-making
β’ Write complex SQL queries from scratch and optimize existing SQL templates for performance and clarity
β’ Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources including PDI Enterprise, RightAngle, Data Lakes, and ERP systems
β’ Collaborate with the Fuel Accounting team to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical solutions
β’ Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all reporting platforms
β’ Automate recurring reports and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort
β’ As a Data & Reporting Analyst, you will monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot issues related to data quality or system performance
β’ Support audits and compliance efforts by providing accurate and timely data extracts and documentation
β’ Work closely with IT and business stakeholders to implement data governance and best practices
Requirements
β’ Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field
β’ 2+ years of experience in data analysis or reporting roles
β’ Hands-on experience with Tableau, including dashboard development, data blending, calculated fields, and performance tuning
β’ Experience working with PDI Enterprise, RightAngle, and Data Lake environments
β’ Strong proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write queries from scratch and optimize existing code
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
β’ Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
