Our client, a leading organization in the financial technology sector, is seeking a Data Scientist-AI (SSSE4) to join their team. As a Data Scientist-AI, you will be part of the Data Science and AI Development department supporting innovative AI solutions and enterprise data integration. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and excellent collaboration abilities which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Data Scientist-AI (SSSE4)
Location: Charlotte, NC
Pay Range: Target pay rate is $74 per hour
What's the Job?
• Develop and integrate AI/ML models using Python, Spring Boot, and OpenShift to support enterprise solutions
• Build AI model-based solutions with enterprise data, focusing on internal audit and compliance use cases
• Design and implement AI solutions that enhance platform capabilities, including chatbot development and prompt engineering
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of AI components within existing systems
• Utilize strong SQL querying and procedures to manage and analyze large datasets effectively
What's Needed?
• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including Java, Spring Boot, Python, and containerization with OpenShift
• 5+ years of experience with deep learning, natural language processing, and financial applications
• 3+ years of hands-on AI/ML engineering experience, especially with large language models (LLMs) and prompt engineering
• Proficiency in cloud services such as GCP and OCP, along with infrastructure automation
• Strong knowledge of NLP, RAG architectures, vector search systems, and chatbot development
