Data Scientist

Our client, an industry leader in telecommunications, has an excellent opportunity for a Data Scientist to work on a 6+month renewable contract opportunity. Work will be a hybrid on-site/remote schedule in Englewood, CO. The Data Scientist is passionate about data, curious about uncovering insights, and eager to contribute to impactful decision-making across the organization. You will join a Data Science team in the product intelligence organization. This project is an incident tracking method for SMB customers using Wifi Sharing beyond terms of use. Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. Rate: $60 - $65 / hr. w2 Responsibilities: • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to manage and fulfill reporting requests related to ongoing projects. • Track and analyze data points related to customer investigations and service performance. • Maintain and improve both manual and automated reporting systems. • Interpret data from various reports to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights. • Develop and present data-driven models and visualizations to support stakeholder decision-making. • Proactively identify and suggest solutions to address negative data trends and improve business outcomes. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent • Experience with Scala is a plus. • Understanding of network and connectivity data is a strong advantage. • Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating large datasets. • Experience with AWS Athena or similar cloud-based data platforms. • Proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming languages for data analysis and modeling. • Familiarity with big data environments, preferably within enterprise-scale systems.
