Data Scientist – DeepStream, GPU Optimization & Distributed Computing

Role Description This is a long-term W2 contract, onsite role for a Data Scientist based in Sunnyvale, CA or Dallas, TX. The Data Scientist will design, develop, and optimize GPU-accelerated, real-time data and AI pipelines, with a strong focus on NVIDIA DeepStream–based solutions. Daily responsibilities include building and optimizing DeepStream pipelines, improving GPU performance, developing microservices, and working with distributed computing systems. The role requires close collaboration with engineering and infrastructure teams to deliver scalable, production-ready solutions. Onsite presence and hands-on DeepStream experience are mandatory. Qualifications • Hands-on experience with NVIDIA DeepStream (required) • Strong experience in GPU optimization and performance tuning • Solid understanding of microservices architecture • Experience with distributed computing systems • Strong background in Data Science, Computer Science, or related fields • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and/or C++ • Experience deploying AI or data pipelines in production environments • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills • Ability to work onsite in Sunnyvale or Dallas • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field • Experience with real-time video analytics or AI inference pipelines is a plus
