Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team in Springfield, VA. As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data, developing automated programs, and providing technical solutions to problems related to IC intelligence integration, automated collections, tipping and cueing, information sharing, and visualization. Responsibilit β€’ ies Support NSG strategies through the creation of automated collection models, dynamic analytic models, workflow automations, and any other automation processes and products as assi β€’ gnedRefine, enhance, and improve the operational performance of any automated solution through the evaluation of performance data, regular customer interaction, and a standardized maintenance c β€’ ycleApply data science and visual programming tradecraft to support and streamline analysis tasks as identified by stakeholders and the Govern β€’ mentEnhance technical solutions to problems related to IC intelligence integration, automated collections, tipping and cueing, information sharing, and visualiza β€’ tionConduct extensive collections and analytic modeling, data processing, data mining, and visualiza β€’ tionConduct gap analysis on existing technologies and proce β€’ ssesProvide communication to customers on the progress for projects, processes, and emerging technologies as they become avail β€’ ableClearly communicate data-driven findings and automation to technical and non-technical audie β€’ ncesDesign, integrate, and maintain Bayesian Belief Network (BBN) processes that utilize automation tools or scripts to drive predictive, activity-based automated collec β€’ tionConduct customer elicitation to identify processing problems due to procedures, tools, and services; work arounds that may need a permanent solution; and gaps in tools and techno β€’ logyTrain and integrate new tools, processes, and capabilities to be used in collection orchestra β€’ tionProvide support for emerging requirements as assigned by the Govern ment Require β€’ ments Proficiency in common geospatial software applications and tools, such as visual programming (JEMA, FADE/MIST, ECO/ETAS), Python, SQL, Git, GIMS, AWS Sagemaker, AWS Cloud, ESRI ArcGIS, statistics (descriptive, Bayesian), Markov-Chain modelling, TensorFlow, Linear Algebra, R, SA β€’ S, NLPAbility to obtain CI Poly within 30 days of starting (no excep β€’ tions)Willingness to sit on-site in Springfield, VA at β€’ NGA HQExperience supporting the intelligence community (SIGINT, OCINT, GEOINT, HUMINT, etc) is highly des β€’ irableFamiliarity with JEMA and Brewlytics is a plus Education And Exp β€’ erience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or relat β€’ ed field3+ years of experience in data science, visual programming, or relat β€’ ed fieldExperience working with geospatial software applications and tools is highly d esirable
