Job Title: Data Scientist IV (Marketing Science) Location: Remote US Duration: 12 Months Must-Have Skills • Programming Proficiency: Strong experience in Python and/or R for data analysis and modeling. • Statistical & Machine Learning Expertise: Deep understanding of statistics, machine learning, data modeling, simulation, and advanced mathematics. 3. Experience with Large Datasets: Ability to work with complex, high-dimensional, and large-scale data. • Experience as a Marketing Data Scientist • Solid grasp of advertising practices and marketing KPIs Nice-to-Have Skills: • Sales/Marketing or Ads Ecosystem background preferred • Big Data Tools: Familiarity with Hadoop or similar big data platforms. • Data Visualization: Experience with tools like Tableau for creating dashboards and visualizations. • Effective Written Communication: Ability to convey complex information clearly and engage others in technical discussions. • Ads Manager experience is a bonus • Health metrics design experience is helpful Summary: The main function of the Data Scientist is to produce innovative solutions driven by exploratory data analysis from complex and high-dimensional datasets. This team specializes in leveraging data science to drive product innovation and improvement. They work closely with engineering and business partners to turn complex data into actionable insights, prototypes, and scalable solutions. Their focus is on advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and supporting business intelligence needs across the organization. Responsibilities: • Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns and opportunities. • Design, develop, and evaluate predictive models and advanced algorithms. • Generate and test hypotheses; analyze and interpret experiment results. • Collaborate with product engineers to translate prototypes into products and features. • Provide BI and data visualization support for dashboards and ad-hoc requests. • Certain project that team is working on / what products are they supporting • Developing innovative solutions using advanced analytics and machine learning. • Prototyping new products and features based on data-driven insights. • Supporting online customer service dashboards and other business intelligence initiatives Skills: • Experienced in either programming languages such as Python and/or R, big data tools such as Hadoop, or data visualization tools such as Tableau. • The ability to communicate effectively in writing, including conveying complex information and promoting in-depth engagement on course topics. • Experience working with large datasets. Education/Experience: Preferred : Master of Science degree in computer science or in a relevant field
