We are looking for someone with strong coding skills on Python and SQL, AI experiences on both traditional ML and GenAI applications. Can work independently to drive progress. Ideally with media background (MMM model building, for example).

Senior Data Scientist Contractor
Location: Summit, NJ. Hybrid with 1-2 days in office is required.
What you will do
As a Data Scientist Contractor you will support the North America Data Science team in the Consumer Business Intelligence department. Your focus will be on developing and deploying machine learning algorithms and data mining strategies to optimize omnichannel communications for media/advertising applications, with an emphasis on generative AI applications to bring business value.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Collaboration and Business Impact
β’ Work with the business to identify and prioritize data science-driven opportunities, including those leveraging generative AI, with a focus on delivering tangible business value
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to guide and review modeling efforts
Model Development and Deployment
β’ Build, test, validate, and deploy machine learning algorithms and data mining strategies to optimize omnichannel communications media/advertising applications
β’ Working knowledge of Mlops process to assist bringing data science projects into production
Ongoing Analysis and Quality Assurance
β’ Perform exploratory data analyses and maintain robust quality checks
β’ Continuously monitor and refine deployed models to ensure business relevance and accuracy
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
β’ Advanced degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, or applied science
β’ Minimum of 5+ years of experience in analytics, data mining, machine learning and deep learning modeling with experiences or learnings to apply generative AI concepts
β’ Experience with online media, marketing attribution models, and adtech ecosystem is highly preferred
Technical Skills
β’ Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
β’ Working knowledge of relational database management systems
β’ Familiarity with advanced tools and platforms such as Apache Spark, sparkML, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, XGBoost, Databricks, Snowflake, and AWS
Soft Skills & Attributes
β’ Strong business acumen and a passion for achieving business value through data science, with an openness to diverse methodologies beyond advanced data science techniques
