Overview We are looking for seasoned Data Scientist to work with our existing team of Data Architects and Developers to develop strategies, create ML/AI solutions, and deliver results. We are looking for a more than just a "Data Scientist", but a technologist with excellent communication and customer service skills and a passion for data and problem solving. Contributions Responsibilities Include β€’ Experience modeling on structured and unstructured data sets β€’ Experience with exploratory data analysis β€’ Experience in feature engineering β€’ Experience in data visualization β€’ Experience with Deep Learning methodology and state of the art libraries β€’ Knowledge of data collection methods, capabilities, and tasking process β€’ Ability to leverage multiple data management tools to organize relevant information and make decisions β€’ Support an Agile software development lifecycle β€’ You will contribute to the growth of our Data Exploitation Practice! Qualifications Required: β€’ Ability to obtain a U.S. government Security Clearance β€’ Master's Degree and 3 years of relevant experience; OR β€’ Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of relevant experience; OR β€’ No degree and 9 years of relevant experience β€’ Possesses at least one professional certification relevant to the technical service provided. Maintain a certification relevant to the product being deployed and/or maintained. β€’ 2-4 years industry experience developing ML/AI solutions and a passion for solving complex problems. β€’ 2-4 years direct experience in Data Modeling and Data Solution Development β€’ 1+ year performing queue modeling and survival analysis β€’ Demonstrated experience manipulating structured and unstructured data for analysis β€’ Strong programming skills in SQL, Python, R, Scala, Java, or similar language β€’ Experience using Python to manipulate large data sets β€’ Experience with DevSecOps, as it applies to data science β€’ Demonstrated experience with TensorFlow, Keras, or other Deep Learning tools and frameworks Preferred β€’ Demonstrated experience in big data systems including Hadoop, Spark, Scala β€’ Data visualization skills in Tableau, Power BI, D3, ArcGIS, or similar β€’ Experience with Git, Bash, Unix commands β€’ Experience in Cloud analytics (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with tools such as AWS SageMaker, Azure HDInsight, etc. β€’ Familiarity with Flask is a plus β€’ Knowledge of DBOps and MLOps framework is a plus β€’ Experience with Solr, Elasticsearch, or similar tool is a plus About Steampunk Steampunk relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, contractual requirements, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience.
