Job Description
Title: RWD Clinical Data Scientist
Location: Onsite Los Angeles or Santa Clara only
Contract: 6+ Months
You will be responsible for:
β’ Complete projects related to Clientβs medical devices organisation
β’ Design and execute clinically-relevant data analyses
β’ Apply appropriate statistical tools and assist in interpretation of results
β’ Prepare conference presentations and scientific manuscripts
β’ Work with varied data types, including clinical study data, electronic health records, remote device monitoring data, and insurance claims data
β’ Become a domain expert in data science and clinical landscape
β’ Present to internal and external stakeholders with varied backgrounds
β’ Maintain a scientific, analytical mindset on projects
Your impact:
About you:
β’ Ph.D. with 1+ years of experience or M.S. degree with 2+ years of relevant experience
Preferred
β’ Ph.D. in biomedical engineering, health/biomedical sciences, epidemiology, statistics or related field
preferred.
β’ Excellent data analysis skills
β’ Strong knowledge of statistical methods
β’ Excellent written skills, with proven ability to prepare scientific manuscripts
β’ Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to speak with experts in the field
β’ Experience with analytical software tools such as R, SAS, MATLAB, Python
β’ Ability to come up with innovative data analysis and presentation strategies
β’ Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
β’ Ability to initiate and maintain a schedule for projects and milestones
