Data Scientist

This is a hybrid role based in Dearborn, MI • Day to Day: Insight Global is looking for a Data Scientist to join the team of one of their largest clients in the Automotive industry. These candidates will be joining the Supply Chain Analytics team of the client, and will spend a majority of their time working on projects that utilize their Data Science, Analysis, and Engineering skills. These candidates should have a background of Enterprise level experience, and should have a background working with Business stakeholders. • Specific Responsibilities: • Data Mining, Modeling, Cleaning, and Statistical Analysis • Optimization of Data Products • Data Engineering- utilizing Python & SQL • Data Science responsibilities in relation to GCP • Collaborating with Supply Chain Business Stakeholders Qualifications: • 3-5 years of experience- Data Scientist, Engineer, or Analyst • Strong professional experience with Data Modeling, Cleaning, Mining, Statistical Analysis, and Machine Learning • Visualization and dashboarding background • Qlik sense, Looker, Tableau, Power BI • Business stakeholder experience • Expert programming background with Python & SQL • Hands-on experience with GCP tools- Looker, Big Query, etc. • Any cloud does suffice for professional experience • Any AI/ML exposure is highly preferred - GEN AI • At least a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, or related field of study • Professional background working at enterprise level corporations Preferred: • Master's degree in related field of study • Domain experience • Either automotive, industrial, or supply chain experience
