Role description
Title: Lidar Analyst Location: Lafayette, LA Schedule: Hybrid - Monday - Wednesday in Office and Thursday - Friday at Home Pay: $18.00/Hour NO C2C and NO THIRD PARTIES Key Responsibilities: Delivery Excellence: β€’ Process lidar data according to project-specific requirements: boresight, TerraScan macro development, manual editing/QC, and generation of derived products. β€’ Perform independent quality review of other staff members' work. β€’ Conduct final quality reviews to verify conformance to specifications and requirements. β€’ Understand factors affecting production, such as time allotted, quality and quantity metrics, and project specifications. β€’ Recognize and solve problems in a timely manner to keep projects on schedule, using independent judgment to determine courses of action. β€’ Assist the technical/team lead or department supervisor in scheduling and expediting work processes. β€’ Sharing Information: β€’ Report to the technical/team lead or department supervisor on project status and any matters that may negatively affect product quality. β€’ Offer technical support and input for the team, management, peers, and clients regarding procedures and specifications. β€’ Provide written and oral reports on technical and professional issues as needed. β€’ Innovation & Continuous Improvement: β€’ Exercise creativity in identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and increase efficiency through data-driven insights and process improvements. β€’ Recommend improvements to existing processes and procedures based on data analysis findings. β€’ Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in analytical tools and techniques; recommend tools or methods that could enhance analytical capabilities. β€’ Assist in creating and enforcing information security standards, policies and procedures. Qualifications: β€’ Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline from an accredited college or university. β€’ A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience β€’ Experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or project performance analysis. β€’ Proficiency with data tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or Python/R. β€’ Strong understanding of project environments and performance measurement. β€’ Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations. β€’ Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and workflow improvement.
