Senior BI Analyst
Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Senior BI Analyst for a contract position in Chicago, IL(Hybrid). The opportunity will be six months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
β’ Understand business requirements from various stakeholders and plan a solution to address data requirements.
β’ Collect, refine, and prepare data for analytics and visualization.
β’ Develop, design, and maintain Power BI dashboards, SQL Queries, and analytics.
β’ Define new KPIs and analyze them to form actionable recommendations.
β’ Present to business leaders in both ad-hoc forums and routine business reviews to drive strategic decision-making.
β’ Identify new data functionalities or enhancements needed to support better decision-making and business growth.
β’ Solve any data or performance issues related to workbooks and data sources.
Qualifications:
β’ Degree in a Quantitative field with 5 years of relevant experience.
β’ Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, and building dashboards using BI Tools such as Power BI.
β’ Ability to read an ETL pipeline and collaborate with Data and Software Engineers.
β’ Capability to design new metrics and collaborate with Data Scientists.
β’ Experience in leading projects independently and collaborating with Operations, Finance.
β’ Successfully influence without authority.
β’ Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work with individual contributors and senior leaders.
