We are looking for a Data Scientist to write, review, and validate prompt-based questions designed to train AI. Your expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning, data pipelines, and analytical reasoning will ensure each prompt and response is technically accurate and aligned with industry best practices. We welcome data scientists from a variety of backgrounds—tech, healthcare, finance, or research—to help create AI training content that mirrors how real-world data problems are solved. You’ll have the opportunity to apply your analytical mindset to shape how AI interprets, analyzes, and explains data. You are a good fit if you: • Have over 3+ years of professional experience in data science or applied analytics. • Have a bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, computer science, or related field. • Have a strong background in one of the following - • Exploratory data analysis and statistical inference • Machine learning workflows and model evaluation • Feature engineering, data preprocessing, data wrangling • A/B testing, experimentation, and casual inference • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills • Have strong attention to details Preferred Qualification • Master's degree or PhD in data science, machine learning, or a quantitative discipline is preferred. • Experience with Python, SQL, Jupyter, scikit-learn, pandas, Tensorflow/PyTorch is highly encouraged. Role Highlights • Flexible workload: 10–20 hours per week, with potential to increase to 40 hours. • Fully remote and asynchronous—work on your own schedule. • Minimum duration: 1–2 months, with potential for extension. Role Start Date • This role will begin in early to mid-July with applications reviewed on a rolling basis. Interview Process • You will take an AI interview where you will be asked questions about your background in data science and analytical problem solving. • You will share your screen and write a detailed prompt to generate an AI response about a data science topic. • You will evaluate and compare LLM outputs to determine which response is more effective and accurate. • Applicants will be selected based on their performance in the AI interview and on the accuracy and quality of their evaluations.
