The Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Specialist with strong expertise in Data Lineage to support ongoing data governance and compliance initiatives. You will be responsible for mapping, documenting, and maintaining data flows across systems, ensuring transparency and accuracy of data movement within a complex enterprise environment.
This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative team and play a key role in shaping data governance frameworks and practices within a high-profile programme.
Key Responsibilities
• Map and document data flows and transformations across multiple systems
• Develop and enforce data governance standards around data lineage
• Provide lineage evidence to support compliance and audit requirements
• Collaborate with IT teams, data owners, and business stakeholders to ensure end-to-end lineage visibility
• Train and support stakeholders in understanding lineage documentation
• Utilise data lineage and metadata tools to aid discovery and visualisation
Your Profile
Essential skills:
• 5+ years’ hands-on experience in data lineage
• Strong understanding of data governance frameworks
• Proven stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical ability
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
Desirable skills:
• Relevant certifications (e.g., DAMA CDMP, Collibra Ranger)
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field
• Experience with enterprise data management tools
