Data Steward

Overview: This role is essential in supporting our ongoing data governance and quality initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring a solid foundation in data stewardship and hands-on experience with data management platforms. Key Responsibilities: • Serve as a key resource for data quality, integrity, and governance initiatives across business units. • Maintain and manage metadata, business glossaries, and data dictionaries in platforms such as Informatica, Collibra, or similar. • Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure alignment with data governance policies and standards. • Identify, investigate, and resolve data quality issues. • Participate in data stewardship forums and assist in the development of best practices. • Support the implementation and enhancement of enterprise data management platforms. Required Qualifications: • 3–5 years of hands-on experience with a Data Management Platform (e.g., Informatica, Collibra, etc.). • Strong foundational knowledge of data stewardship practices, data governance principles, and data quality management. • Ability to act as both a technical software analyst and a business-facing data practitioner. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams. • Proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience working in large enterprise or regulated environments. • Knowledge of master data management (MDM) and data lineage concepts. • Familiarity with data privacy and compliance requirements.
