Data Visualization Developer Location: Fort Washington, PA (Onsite 3 days/week) We are seeking a skilled Data Visualization Developer to design and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions using Microsoft tools like Power BI and Synapse. This role involves both backend data structuring and front-end reporting to support business decision-making. Key Responsibilities: • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations • Design backend data models and refresh processes • Work with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements • Develop scalable, optimized code following SDLC best practices • Support and troubleshoot data and reporting issues • Perform data analysis, root cause investigations, and documentation • Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure alignment on reporting needs Required Skills: • 5+ years in data visualization or BI development • Strong proficiency with Power BI, SQL, and Microsoft’s data tools (e.g. Synapse, MS Fabric) • Experience with data modeling (star/snowflake schema), ETL, and data warehousing • Familiarity with Azure tools (Data Factory, Pipelines, etc.) • Strong communication skills and ability to translate data into insights Preferred Skills: • Experience with AI/ML, GDPR/PII compliance, or utility services • Certification in data analytics or visualization (e.g. Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate) • Knowledge of query optimization and performance tuning
