Key Responsibilities • Evaluate and optimize database systems to ensure peak performance and long-term sustainability. • Implement technology strategies to strengthen operational stability and resilience. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve database standards, procedures, and overall performance. • Enhance observability across systems, enabling faster issue identification and resolution. • Review and refine support procedures to increase responsiveness and reduce team fatigue. • Assess current database management and observability tools to identify improvement opportunities. • Analyze existing system configurations to drive performance and reliability enhancements. • Develop dashboards using DBA and Dynatrace tools to centralize insights and monitoring. • Mentor team members on utilizing Dynatrace and its AI capabilities to resolve issues effectively. Qualifications • Extensive hands-on experience with cloud-based database technologies including Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, and Dynamo DB. • Deep understanding of Oracle RAC and Dataguard. • Proficient in Dynatrace and database performance monitoring tools. • Over 10 years of experience in technology operations or infrastructure management. • Strong background in strategic planning and aligning technology with business goals. • Up-to-date with industry trends, standards, and best practices. • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
