Responsibilities: Tech Breakdown β€’ 90% Oracle (Exadata, RAC, GoldenGate, Performance Tuning) β€’ 10% SQL Server Daily Responsibilities β€’ 80% Hands, On Engineering (architecture, tuning, troubleshooting, automation) β€’ 10% Strategic Planning & Technology Direction β€’ 10% Cross, Team Collaboration & Consulting Required Skills & Experience β€’ 5+ years of Database Engineering experience (or equivalent through work, training, military, or education) β€’ 5+ years supporting Oracle databases in enterprise environments β€’ 5+ years of experience with Oracle Goldengate replication β€’ 5+ years of expertise in Oracle performance tuning β€’ 5+ years working with Oracle Exadata platforms β€’ 5+ years managing Oracle RAC environments Desired Skills & Experience β€’ 3+ years administering SQL Server databases β€’ Strong background in database design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization β€’ 2+ years using Python for automation or operational tasks β€’ Experience proactively monitoring databases for locks, failed updates, and performance bottlenecks β€’ Experience leading automation initiatives to improve reliability, scalability, and efficiency
