We are looking for an experienced Data/BI Engineer to join a Trade Surveillance Data Engineering team for a long-term project. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on Python and Power BI expert with a strong background in ETL pipelines, data modeling, and scheduling tools.
🔧 Top Skills Required:
Must Have:
• 5+ years combined experience in:
• Python (Strong proficiency required)
• Power BI (Dashboarding, DAX, data modeling)
• SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning)
📌 Job Responsibilities:
• Lead complex data engineering initiatives within the Trade Surveillance space
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python, SSIS, and SQL Server
• Develop and maintain BI solutions using Power BI
• Create and maintain AutoSys job schedules (JIL)
• Build and test ETL packages to integrate data from diverse sources including flat files, JSON, Oracle
• Use FTP/NDM protocols for file transfers
• Work collaboratively within Agile teams, contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives
• Maintain detailed system documentation and follow testing best practices
