We are looking for an experienced Data/BI Engineer to join a Trade Surveillance Data Engineering team for a long-term project. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on Python and Power BI expert with a strong background in ETL pipelines, data modeling, and scheduling tools.
π§ Top Skills Required:
Must Have:
β’ 5+ years combined experience in:
β’ Python (Strong proficiency required)
β’ Power BI (Dashboarding, DAX, data modeling)
β’ SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning)
π Job Responsibilities:
β’ Lead complex data engineering initiatives within the Trade Surveillance space
β’ Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python, SSIS, and SQL Server
β’ Develop and maintain BI solutions using Power BI
β’ Create and maintain AutoSys job schedules (JIL)
β’ Build and test ETL packages to integrate data from diverse sources including flat files, JSON, Oracle
β’ Use FTP/NDM protocols for file transfers
β’ Work collaboratively within Agile teams, contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives
β’ Maintain detailed system documentation and follow testing best practices
