Location: US-based, Remote TekStream Solutions is in search of a Monitoring Engineer with experience managing enterprise tooling with experience in standards setting and compliance measurement/remediation to join a growing Engineering Services team responsible for rolling out internal product enhancements as well as working with TekStream clients on their implementations. This is an excellent opportunity to join to a growing practice supporting an award- winning Enterprise client with a tremendous reputation for technology innovation and culture. Candidates open to contract/consulting and full-time employment will be considered. Preferred Qualifications: O11y experience 5+ years of direct experience working with monitoring, logging using DataDog, Grafana(nice to have) Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field experience preferred 10+ years of experience in Enterprise IT efforts to build, maintain, and deploy large-scale infrastructure or development projects Experience with providing comprehensive logging, monitoring and notification solutions Experience with translating strategic monitoring goals into tactical plans and executing them within a team Experience with building, maintaining, and operating tools comprising the Enterprise Monitoring and Logging system to provide visibility into the operation of technology assets Experience working with teams to onboard specific applications with useful metrics and measures Experience with troubleshooting to discover root level problems not clearly visible from their initial impacts Deep foundational knowledge of software engineering practices, particularly on distributed systems and cloud native architectures. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
