Role description
Job Title: Developer Java/Web – Senior Location: Wilmington, DE Duration: 12+ Months Required Skills and Qualifications: • Technical Expertise: • Proficiency in Java 17, Spring Boot, and Maven. • Strong hands-on experience with AWS integrations. • Experienced with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Code Pipeline, and CloudFormation • Testing and Methodology: • Solid experience with automated testing using tools such as Junit, Mockito, Cucumber, Playwright and Cypress. • Understanding of the Twelve-Factor Application Methodology. • Cloud and Security: • Hands-on experience with cloud-native design, development, and delivery using AWS technologies including ECS, EventBridge, S3, Lambda, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, RDS/Aurora, Cloudwatch. • Knowledge of application security vulnerabilities and mitigation techniques. • Soft Skills: • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Strong analytical thinker with the capability to troubleshoot and resolve intricate issues. • Education and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and 7+ years of relevant work experience. Preferred: • AWS Certified Developer – Associate or higher. • Experience with Angular for front-end development. • Knowledge of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems. • Experience with event-driven architectures. • Knowledge of AWS CDK and infrastructure as code.
