Position Title: Developer Relations Engineer Location: Remote (United States only) Job Type: Independent Contractor (No insurance, PTO, & benefits; candidate will be responsible for any tax and insurance) At TRON, we are at the forefront of creating value, publicizing innovation, and sharing products people love. Our work touches millions while exemplifying a fundamental principle: β€œFocus on the user, and all else will follow.” Our development team is looking for a strong Developer Relations Engineer to support the development of TRON and the developers building on it. As a Developer Relations Engineer, you'll be the voice of the developer and the face of our technology in the Web3 community. You will create technical content, engage with developers across multiple channels, and build programs that make it easier to build on TRON. You’ll collaborate across engineering, marketing, and community teams β€” helping us grow adoption, improve our developer experience, and shape the future of the TRON ecosystem. Responsibilities β€’ Responsible for the construction of the TRON developer community and Github open source community, and for expanding the TRON developer ecosystem. β€’ Build and maintain open-source tools, SDKs, or sample projects that demonstrate best practices. β€’ Responsible for advancing the TRON public chain protocol work, tools development, developer documents optimization, and project technical issues. β€’ Create high-quality technical content: blog posts, tutorials, example apps, videos, and documentation. β€’ Help developers build on TRON stack by offering technical support and becoming a trusted expert in the ecosystem. β€’ Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to influence development roadmap based on developer pain points. β€’ Responsible for forward research and in-depth follow-up of blockchain technology. Job Requirements β€’ Strong technical foundation in software development, with experience building or deploying blockchain applications. β€’ Enthusiasm for blockchain technology, and experience in blockchain development/community construction preferred. β€’ Must be proficient in any of the development languages such as Javascript/Java/Go/C++/Rust, and open source community development experience preferred. β€’ Hands-on knowledge of Web3 ecosystems like TRON, Ethereum, Solana, Layer 2s, etc, is preferred. β€’ Comfortable writing smart contracts in Solidity. β€’ Familiarity with distributed system architecture design, design experience with high concurrency and high throughput preferred. β€’ Experience working with APIs, SDKs, CLI tools, and other developer-facing products. β€’ Bachelor degree or above required, with a major in computer and information technology. β€’ Strong communication skills.
