Role description
We are seeking a Developer to work on ambitious, institution-wide projects. This is a fixed term role until 31st July 2026.
The successful candidates will support the development and delivery of a complex, high-impact digital and systems change in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
You will bring a proven track record of developing and supporting software systems, with the ability to adapt quickly, manage competing priorities, and work collaboratively in a software development environment.
The primary focus of the role is to develop and support functionality within the CMS/CTP projects which may include the record system used by staff across the organisation. The roles report to our Senior Developers.
The successful candidates will bring skills & experience across a broad technology base and must include:
Β· C# .Net / .Net Core including WinForms, Webforms and API development.
Β· Angular / Typescript
Β· SQL Server development and optimisation
Β· Development of high availability, high throughput, business critical systems as part of a software engineer team following agile best practice
Β· Modern DevOps practices including CI\CD, containerisation
Β· Complex system integrations with internal / external systems and data sources
Β· Collaborative working within a large (10+) development team
Β· Coaching and mentoring other team members
We would expect a minimum of 2 days a week in the office in Lancashire
