Role description
Key Responsibilities: β€’ Design, develop, and maintain C++ applications on Windows and Linux platforms. β€’ Work with Kubernetes clusters and Docker containers to deploy and manage applications. β€’ Integrate and support KubeVirt for virtualized workloads within Kubernetes. β€’ Lead the effort to migrate existing Windows-based C++ software to Linux, optimizing for performance and maintainability. β€’ Write robust unit tests using frameworks such as Google Test, CppUnit, or similar. β€’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and Product Management to deliver reliable, scalable solutions. β€’ Participate in code reviews, debugging, and root cause analysis of complex issues. Required Qualifications: β€’ 5+ years of experience in Visual C++ development on the Windows platform β€” recent or current. β€’ 1–2 years of hands-on experience working with Kubernetes and Docker containers. β€’ Experience with KubeVirt or equivalent virtualization platforms in cloud-native environments. β€’ Proficient in both Windows and Linux C++ development. β€’ Demonstrated ability to convert or port Windows-based C++ code to Linux environments (preferred). β€’ Strong background in unit testing with practical experience in tools like Google Test, CppUnit, or equivalent. β€’ Focused software engineering experience with a strong emphasis on C++ and cloud-native systems β€” not generalized across unrelated stacks.
