Role description
DevOps Engineer Location: Plano, TX | Hybrid - 2 days on site a week Contract: 6+ Months We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and optimize cloud operations for modern microservice-based platforms. In this role, you’ll solve complex technical challenges, drive automation, and collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers, data scientists, and product leaders to deliver innovative solutions. What You’ll Do: β€’ Lead initiatives including project planning, resource forecasting, and delivery execution. β€’ Develop and refine automation scripts and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for scalability and efficiency. β€’ Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth software delivery. β€’ Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues across multi-cloud and containerized environments. β€’ Implement security measures, disaster recovery strategies, and performance optimization. β€’ Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical discussions, providing best-practice guidance. What You Bring: β€’ 3+ years of experience as a DevOps or Software Engineer. β€’ Strong skills in Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes. β€’ Proficiency with AWS and designing scalable cloud architectures. β€’ Expertise in CI/CD pipeline design, automation, and orchestration. β€’ Solid scripting experience (e.g., Python, Bash) with API integration knowledge. β€’ Hands-on experience in monitoring, analytics, and troubleshooting distributed systems. β€’ Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving problems, building efficient systems, and driving innovation in cloud operations.
