Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented DevOps Engineer with 1–3 years of experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, and automation tools. You will work closely with developers, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment, scalability, and reliability of applications.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in building, managing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery.
• Support deployment and monitoring of applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to troubleshoot build, deployment, and environment issues.
• Manage and configure infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Monitor system performance and ensure application uptime, scalability, and security.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks using scripting languages (Bash, Python, or PowerShell).
• Maintain version control and branching strategies using Git/GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket.
• Participate in on-call support for critical production issues (as needed).
• Stay updated with DevOps tools, practices, and emerging cloud technologies.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s OR Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 1–3 years of experience in a DevOps, Cloud, or System Administration role.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).
• Knowledge of at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with Docker and basic Kubernetes concepts.
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or PowerShell).
• Good understanding of Linux/Unix system administration.
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch, etc.).
Preferred Skills
• Experience with Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE).
• Knowledge of networking basics, firewalls, and security best practices.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps culture.
• Exposure to configuration management tools (Chef, Puppet, or Ansible).
