DevOps Engineer

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a DevOps Engineer for a contract assignment with one of our premier Insurance services clients in Hartford, CT. Responsibilities : • Analyze existing pipeline used to build and deploy API products and create set of recommendations to align to best practices. • Work with internal team responsible for DevOps and ensure pipelines are implementing company standards. • Implement new pipelines to package and deploy code that performs API quality checks and allows for developer self-service API deployments in all environments. • Update observability data being sent to Splunk to assist with pipeline monitoring and troubleshooting Required Skills: • Experience in designing and implementing pipelines using Jenkins and uDeploy. • Experience with Groovy scripting and functions used in Jenkins. • Experience with PowerShell scripting which is used in some stages of the pipeline. Preferred Skills: • Prior experience with IBM API Connect CLI would be useful, but not required. SGA is a technology and resource solutions provider driven to stand out.
