DevOps Engineer - Security Cleared

DevOps Engineer (Contract) – UK Public Sector projects Location: Travel to client sites across South and West England (hybrid potential) Clearance: DV clearance preferred; SC clearance will be considered Contract Type: Inside IR35 Duration: 3-6 months initial I’m currently working with a specialist consultancy that delivers digital, cloud, and DevOps services into the UK Public Sector, particularly across National Security and Defence. They’re looking to bring on board an experienced DevOps Engineer to support a number of high-profile projects. This is a contract opportunity inside IR35, and we're looking for someone who is flexible with travel—the role will involve working across several client sites, mainly in South and West England. Key Requirements: • Proven DevOps experience in secure or regulated environments • Strong hands-on skills with tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD • Good knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar) • Experience working with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) • Background working with Defence or National Security clients is highly desirable • Active DV clearance is ideal, but SC-cleared candidates who are willing to go through DV will be considered Additional Info: • UK nationals only due to the nature of the projects • Travel expenses may be covered depending on location and frequency • Immediate start available; flexible on notice period for the right person If this sounds like a fit, or you’d like to discuss the consultancy and projects in more detail, feel free to reach out directly.
