Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Associate DevOps Engineer with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in application monitoring tools, automation scripting (preferably in Python), and a passion for improving system reliability and performance through SRE principles.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support rapid development and deployment.
β’ Monitor application and infrastructure health using tools such as Azure Monitor, Grafana, New Relic, SolarWinds, and Amazon CloudWatch.
β’ Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python (preferred) or other scripting languages to streamline monitoring, deployment, and operational tasks.
β’ Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement and uphold SRE practices, including incident response, root cause analysis, and reliability improvements.
β’ Assist in defining and tracking Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Indicators (SLIs).
β’ Support infrastructure as code (IaC) initiatives using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
β’ Contribute to documentation and internal knowledge sharing.
Required Qualifications:
β’ 2+ years of experience in a DevOps or related engineering role.
β’ Hands-on experience with at least two of the following monitoring tools: Azure Monitor, Grafana, New Relic, SolarWinds, Amazon CloudWatch.
β’ Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell) for automation and monitoring.
β’ Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
β’ Experience with Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting.
β’ Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Preferred Qualifications:
β’ Exposure to containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
β’ Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
β’ Familiarity with SRE concepts and practices.
β’ Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
