DevOps Engineer – URGENT contract opportunity - W2 only • Please note: This is a W2-only contract from start to finish. We're looking for a Strong DevOps Engineer to join an influential team focused on modernizing how infrastructure services are built, exposed, and consumed internally. The Role: You’ll be embedded in a team pushing forward internal platform capabilities and standardizing infrastructure delivery across the organization. This role is central to a program aimed at transforming core services—abstracting internal APIs for storage, networking, and databases. • Build developer-facing tooling that simplifies access to infrastructure resources across hybrid environments • Design and implement infrastructure automation using Infrastructure-as-Code principles • Evolve internal cloud experience through automation, observability enhancements, and seamless self-service integrations • Define CI/CD workflows using Jenkins and pipeline-as-code • Design and maintain Ansible playbooks to orchestrate complex backend systems • Drive improvements in Terraform Enterprise setup with modular patterns and shared components • Manage a library of Terraform service templates and internal standards Skills/Experience: • Proven experience operationalizing infrastructure through Terraform or other IaC tools • Familiarity with GitOps workflows using GitHub Enterprise or similar platforms • Experience with CI/CD systems like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent • Strong programming/scripting capabilities with Python, C# and/or Go • Experience managing infrastructure orchestration with Ansible • Deep knowledge of observability, and hands-on expertise of monitoring/logging frameworks
