Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Document Migration Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in migrating documents and data across various platforms, including Google Drive, SharePoint, and Box.com. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong technical expertise and excellent problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Plan and execute document migration projects from Google Drive, SharePoint, to Box.com the target platform.
β’ Analyze and assess existing document structures and workflows to ensure seamless migration.
β’ Develop and implement migration strategies, including data mapping, transformation, and validation.
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand migration requirements and provide technical support.
β’ Troubleshoot and resolve migration-related issues to ensure data integrity and minimal downtime.
β’ Create and maintain documentation for migration processes, including best practices and lessons learned.
β’ Monitor and report on migration progress, ensuring timely completion of projects.
β’ Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in document management and cloud storage.
Qualifications
β’ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
β’ Proven experience in document migration projects involving Google Drive, SharePoint, and Box.com.
β’ Strong understanding of cloud storage solutions and document management systems.
β’ Proficiency in data migration tools and techniques.
β’ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
β’ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
β’ Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
β’ Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
