Job Title: Duck Creek Billing Developer (Contract-to-Hire, Remote – US/Canada) Location: Remote (Candidates must be based in the US or Canada) Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (C2H) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Duck Creek Billing Developer to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Duck Creek Billing solutions and a solid background in insurance technology. You will be responsible for developing, customizing, and supporting billing systems to meet business requirements. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement solutions using Duck Creek Billing platform Customize Duck Creek components including manuscripts, rating, and billing workflows Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and translate requirements Integrate Duck Creek Billing with internal and third-party systems Perform unit testing, debugging, and production support Ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to best practices Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and releases Document technical designs and implementation details Required Qualifications 8+ years of hands-on experience with Duck Creek Billing Strong experience in P&C Insurance domain Proficiency in C#, .NET, SQL Server, and XML Experience with Duck Creek tools such as Author, Express, and TransACT Familiarity with web services (REST/SOAP) and system integrations Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a remote team environment
