Role description
About The Role
Vital Energiβs Performance Team plays a key role in safeguarding the profitability of the contracts under which we provide performance guarantees associated with the equipment we operate. The Performance Teamβs key function is to analyse the performance of Company and Customer Assets to ensure plant availability, utilisation, reliability and efficiencies are maximised and are operating in line with contractual obligations. The team also produces routine performance reports for distribution both internally and externally which details the technical and commercial performance of the relevant assets, compliance with contractual metrics and provides supporting information with regards to operational and maintenance activities undertaken by the companyβs O&M team in the relevant reporting period.
Key responsibilities
β’ Work with various data sets across the business and industry to normalise and create meaningful metrics for analysis.
β’ Manage amendments to existing reports as the data maturity evolves which may include developing dashboards and automated reporting solutions (like power BI)
β’ Collate and analyse meter data used in the production of daily, monthly, quarterly and annual energy performance reports.
β’ Analyse CSV files; identify data anomalies within the CSV files and trouble shotting reporting issues
β’ Collaborate with operational and commercial teams to understand reporting requirements and support with the development of solutions where data is required.
β’ Liaise with O&M personnel and operational Contracts Managers to obtain information regarding downtime of major plant items, operational issues/comments and information regarding any site-based SHEQ issues experienced in the reporting period.
β’ Assist in the preparation and production of operational performance reports, helping develop robust reporting processes, monitoring functions, and information collection across the operational contracts to ensure the delivery of an accurate quality service
β’ Diligently maintain relevant performance and efficiency monitoring documentation, record keeping and relevant information pertaining to the required O&M sites.
What you will need
β’ Experience with database management and knowledge of automation tools
β’ Previous experience working in a reporting or data analysis role
β’ A full UK driving licence
β’ Professionally qualified to Degree/ HND / HNC level in an engineering discipline (not essential)
β’ Working knowledge of Microsoft software
