Role description
One of Insight Global's Premier Energy Trading Clients is undergoing a large-scale transformation of its Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) systems, migrating from legacy platforms to Openlink Endur. As a Senior Endur Developer, you will play a critical role in delivering scalable, high-performance solutions that support LNG, Gas, and Power trading operations.
You will join a cross-functional team of developers, business analysts, and trading stakeholders to design, develop, and optimise Endur-based solutions. This role requires deep technical expertise in Endur, strong understanding of trading workflows, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into robust technical implementations.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Develop and maintain Endur extensions using JVS (Java Scripting), AVS, and OpenComponents.
β’ Collaborate with Business Analysts to translate trading and operational requirements into functional Endur configurations.
β’ Design and implement interfaces between Endur and external systems (e.g., market data feeds, reporting tools).
β’ Optimise performance of Endur modules and ensure scalability of custom solutions.
β’ Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and deployment activities.
β’ Provide post-deployment support and troubleshoot production issues.
β’ Contribute to the broader ETRM transformation strategy, including microservices integration and data flow optimisation.
This is a high-impact role requiring strong communication skills, deep ETRM expertise, and a proven track record in complex transformation programmes.
Must Haves:
β’ Extensive hands-on development experience with Openlink Endur
β’ Strong expertise in JVS, AVS, and core Java; familiarity with SQL and scripting
β’ Proven experience in at least one full-cycle Endur implementation or migration (preferably from legacy systems like Align).
β’ Deep understanding of Gas and/or Power trading operations, including scheduling, risk, and reporting.
β’ Ability to work closely with front, middle, and back-office teams to model deals and workflows in Endur.
β’ Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with global teams.
