Contract Role: DeltaV MES (Syncade) Automation Support Engineer Location: Hybrid (onsite in North Carolina required at times) Start Date: ASAP Duration: 5 months initally We are supporting a major pharmaceutical manufacturing buildout and are seeking an experienced DeltaV MES (Syncade) Automation Support Engineer to join the Automation-MES team. This project is focused on delivering a fully integrated, paperless manufacturing solution across MES, ERP, and DCS layers in a GMP-compliant setting. Key Responsibilities: • Support the design and implementation of DeltaV MES (Syncade) within a highly automated, regulated manufacturing environment • Participate in regular project meetings and provide design input on MES functions including: • System administration, document control (DCA), Bill of X, order and material management • Workflow execution, electronic batch records (EBR), weigh and dispense, and QRM • Coordinate with cross-functional workstreams including Automation, QA, CSV, CQV, and Engineering • Translate system requirements into test protocols • Perform infrastructure setup, software installation, recipe development, and user acceptance testing (UAT) • Provide on-call support for 24/7 operations as needed Required Experience: • 1+ years of hands-on experience with DeltaV MES (Syncade) • Proficiency in: • Debugging Syncade configuration and behavior • Migrating components across Syncade environments • Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and Windows Event Viewer • Understanding of cGMP environments and standards such as S88, ISA-95, GAMP5, and 21 CFR Part 11 Nice to Have: • Experience with VB Script, XML/XPATH/XSLT, and SQL/TSQL • Familiarity with Kneat Gx, TrackWise, DeltaV DCS, AVEVA PI, and Informetric InfoBatch Additional Notes: • Reports to the Automation-MES Lead • 30-day notice required for any resource changes • Rate sheet must be provided for the duration of the contract If you have relevant Syncade experience and are available ASAP, please get in touch to discuss further.
