Qualifications
Must Have:
Bachelorβs or Masterβs degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Willingness and ability to relocate to Boston, MA and work in a hybrid/onsite setting.
Proficient in Python and R for data analysis and visualization (e.g., using Pandas, NumPy, tidyverse).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective at communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Excellent teamwork and organizational skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Understanding of biomedical signal processing and/or imaging technologies.
Experience working with biomedical data (ECG, PPG, accelerometer, etc.).
Background in experiment design with wearables or human subject research.
Proficiency with SQL/NoSQL databases and data management tools.
Exposure to ETL pipelines and data engineering practices.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with senior Biomedical Engineers to test and evaluate digital health technologies (DHTs).
Build and maintain data pipelines for processing large-scale biomedical datasets.
Conduct data wrangling, analysis, and visualization using Python and R.
Apply biomedical engineering principles to interpret physiological signals and imaging data.
Ensure data solutions are high-quality, secure, and scalable.
Perform exploratory data analysis to drive product development and clinical research.
Keep current with emerging technologies and data analytics methodologies in the biomedical field.
Assist in planning and managing in-house evaluation tests, including participant monitoring and scheduling.
Maintain the lab environment, handling equipment logistics and device inventory.
Support data preparation and analysis for internal tests and user acceptance testing (UAT).
