Job Summary
Palo Alto Networks is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to join the Prisma Access GTM team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a fast-growing, global cybersecurity leader in a dynamic, international environment. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with a sales-driven mindset, working proactively with customers and internal teams to drive business success.
This position requires a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and demonstrates high integrity, flexibility, and a strong results-oriented approach.
Key Responsibilities
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise customers, owning relationships and ensuring client satisfaction
• Drive pre-sales and post-sales technical engagements, including deep technical discovery sessions
• Sell and support complex enterprise cybersecurity solutions, with a focus on Prisma Access
• Build and present customer success stories and case studies aligned with defined methodologies
• Collaborate closely with Product Management and R&D teams to represent customer needs and ensure solution alignment
• Clearly and creatively explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Provide 1st-level technical support and triage, creating detailed tickets for reported issues
• Maintain accurate updates, reporting, and pipeline tracking using Salesforce and other data-driven tools
• Support go-to-market initiatives and contribute to regional sales strategy
• Travel extensively as required to support customer engagements
Required Experience & Skills
• 6+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or in a similar customer-facing technical role
• Proven track record selling complex enterprise cybersecurity solutions
• Deep expertise in one or more of the following domains:
• Networking & Network Security (Firewalls, Proxies, etc.)
• Endpoint Protection (EDR/EPP)
• Identity & Access Management (IAM)
• Data Loss / Data Leakage Prevention (DLP)
• Strong technical foundation with understanding and/or hands-on experience in:
• Software development
• Web technologies
• Excellent presentation, storytelling, and creative communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills; a true people-person
• Success-driven mindset with strong ownership and accountability
• Exceptional time management, multitasking, and prioritization abilities
