Entry Level Power Apps Developer

Role and Overview of the role: This project is about building VR. Couple of examples like one is factory floor safety. So folks out on the factory floor that are having near misses or continual injuries and fall from heights, hand pinch with torque wrenches, overhead crane operation. So basically, gamified the training aspect of that. So new hires and people that need refreshers will put on a VR headset and go through basically a recreation of the factory floor with the equipment and use VR to help support muscle memory, show them things that can be dangerous or things to look out for without putting them in real harm's way. So, help paint a better picture. Top Skills: • C-sharp, C++, Python. • Utilizing Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate. • Familiar with software design processes and software engineering, object-oriented programming. Education and Experience: • Years of experience: 0-2 years • Degree requirement: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, information technology, or engineering • Do you accept internships as job experience: Yes Typical task breakdown: - Projects assigned via project management tool. Responsible for completing without errors and on time/budget Interaction with team: - Weekly meetings/high collaboration Team Structure: - Work Director, Tech Lead, Project Manager, QA, Individual contributors Work environment: Full time onsite 5 days a week – office environment Technical Skills: (Required) - A strong knowledge of developing tools within Maya and 3DS Max. Knowledge of Anaconda and its associated packages. Knowledge of how Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate interact with data sources. Soft Skills: (Required) - Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills. - Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time (Desired) - Job duties include, but not limited to coding in C#, C++, MEL, Python, and utilizing PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate programming.
