Role description
β€’ Pay Rate: $30.00/hour on W2 β€’ Location: Indianapolis, IN 46225 (Onsite) β€’ Contract Length: 5 months with possible extension and/or conversion β€’ Work Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM CST Raise is currently hiring a contract team member on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Overview β€’ The Environmental Data Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate environmental and regulatory data records, conducting technical reviews of waste profile information, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. β€’ This role requires strong Excel skills, data validation experience, and exceptional attention to detail. Responsibilities β€’ Update database and SharePoint site with data for all new, recertified, or amended profiles. β€’ Update SharePoint with current approvals and Notification of Treatment Standards (NTS) forms. β€’ Perform technical regulatory review of new, amended, and recertified waste profile data: β€’ DOT β€’ RCRA β€’ Land Ban β€’ Miscellaneous notes β€’ Review profiles for internal inconsistencies. β€’ Track and run reports requiring advanced Excel knowledge. β€’ Validate shipment data for waste tracking. Qualifications β€’ Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree is required. β€’ Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel or similar database software. β€’ Knowledge of Microsoft Word or similar word processors. β€’ Advanced typing and transcription skills (fast and accurate). β€’ Ability to research and collect data. Preferred Experience β€’ RCRA and DOT regulatory compliance, quality, or government regulation experience β€’ Experience manifesting and profiling hazardous and non-hazardous waste Core Competencies β€’ High accuracy and attention to detail. β€’ Strong verbal and written communication skills. β€’ Effective time management and organization. β€’ Ability to multitask in a structured environment.
